A public hearing on the proposed 2021 Budget for the Town of Marion in Waushara County will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. at the Marion Town Hall. The proposed budget in detail is available for inspection at the town clerk’s office from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Immediately following completion of the public hearing on the proposed 2021 budget, a special town meeting of the electors is called by the town board, pursuant to Sections 60.12(1)c of Wisconsin Statutes, for the following purposes:
- To approve total highway expenditures for 2021 pursuant to Section 82.03 of Wisconsin Statutes.
- To approve the 2020 town tax levy to be collected in 2021 pursuant to Section 60.10(1)(a) of Wisconsin Statutes.
The regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors will be called immediately following the above public hearing and special town meeting.
